No More Excuses
Drawing from John chapter 5, we encounter the lame man at the Pool of Bethesda who, when asked if he wanted to be healed, responded not with faith but with an excuse. He said he had no one to help him into the pool, revealing how he had placed his condition in the dependence of man rather than God. This story mirrors our own lives when we respond to divine opportunities with reasons why we cannot move forward. Whether it's age, finances, past failures, lack of support, or limited resources, these excuses build prisons around our potential while faith opens doors to possibility.
The message challenges us to examine our willingness and passion, reminding us that God never needed our money or perfect circumstances to work miracles in our lives. What He requires is our faith. This week, we are called to break free from every excuse that has held us captive and to embrace the truth that with God, all things are possible to those who believe.
